Carnival Fireworks Light Icy Evening

Fireworks at 6:30 this evening launched the 45th annual Cooperstown Winter Carnival in 17-degree weather.   Three days of fun follow on the theme, “Surf, Sun, Snow.”
This evening’s offerings include a bowling tournament at 7 at the Clark, “Lilo and Stitch” at 7 at the Fenimore, Ghost Tours at 7 from Pioneer Park and the “Rip Tide” Carnival Cooler & Drink Contest, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Templeton Hall.  A Hawaiian dinner is being served in The Otesaga’s Hawkeye Grill.
