Mayor Plans To Name Jim Potts To Hage Seat

COOPERSTOWN
Mayor Joe Booan announced today he plans to appoint James E. Potts, Jr. to the Village Board seat vacated by Chuck Hage in December.
Potts, vice president of the Special Investigations Division at New York Central Mutual Insurance, serves on the board of the Insurance Fraud Management Panel, New York City Anti-Car Theft Association, and the state Special Investigations Units.  He is also an industry representative to the state Department of Criminal Justice Services.
Jim completed a four-year tour of duty with the Air Force, where he met his wife Kim, also a veteran, who grew up in Cooperstown.  They returned to Kim’s hometown together in 1984 and raised their family together in the Village of Cooperstown where they purchased a home in 1994.
